🔼 Home Sweet Home. The seniors on this year’s Baylor women’s hoops team aren’t done at Foster Pavilion just yet.
On Sunday evening, the Bears earned their 21st straight NCAA Tournament bid, being selected as the fourth-seed in the Spokane Region and are set to host the opening two rounds here in Waco.
Baylor will host an upstart Grand Canyon squad that won the WAC and went 32-2 on the year. The two teams will tip off at 2:30 pm on Friday, with Ole Miss and Ball State tipping off at 5 pm. The two winners will square off on Sunday for a berth in the Sweet 16.

🔼 Carolina On My Mind. Dance Ticket Punched. Now, let’s meet our dance partner.
On Sunday, the Bears earned a #9 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will battle eighth-seeded Mississippi State on Friday at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, N.C.
Entering this week, Baylor is just one of four teams to win at least one game in each of the past five NCAA Tournaments dating back to the 2018-19, joining Gonzaga, Kansas and Houston.
In addition, the Bears are 1 of just 8 teams to appear in nine of the last 10 tournaments, joining Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina and Purdue.

🔼 Brown Delivers. There’s a long history of All-American and champions with the Baylor track & field program. But none in the long jump.
Until now.
BU star Alexis Brown claimed the Bears’ first national championship in the long jump on Friday in Virginia Beach at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a leap of 22-7.75.
She is the first athlete since 2021 to bring home a national championship trophy in the indoor competition. The graduate's 22-7.75 mark is tied for fourth in DI Indoor meet history and tied for seventh in all-time collegiate history. Brown broke her own Baylor-program record twice, one with her first jump and then sealing it with her title winning mark.
Not only did Brown take home gold in the long jump, just one day later, Brown earned First Team All-American accolades in the 60m.
🎥 BAYLOR+: THE SIC ‘EM POD
Winners of three straight, the Baylor equestrian squad is getting hot at
the right time with the Big 12 Championships just a few weeks away.
Get to know the leader of that program, Casie Maxwell, who is in her eighth season
with the Bears and has helped Baylor reach the top-10 nationally this year.
🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA

As we mentioned, the Baylor women’s squad will be making their 21st consecutive NCAA Tournament, the third longest active streak in the country behind UConn and Tennessee.
When the streak began in 2004, who was the Bears first round opponent that year?
