Who doesn’t love to celebrate?
That’s exactly what the Baylor women’s hoops squad did this past Sunday,
earning not only an NCAA Tournament berth, but an opportunity to play
on their home court at Foster Pavilion.

🏀 TOMORROW, WE DANCE!
Might as well just call in sick now for tomorrow.
For the 10th time in the past 11 years, the madness of March includes not one, but both Baylor hoops programs.
The Baylor women will begin NCAA tournament play on Friday (2:30 p.m., ESPNU) — their 21st straight appearance! — and for the first time, will get to do so at Foster Pavilion.
The Baylor men will start their NCAA tournament run Friday in Raleigh, N.C. (11:15 a.m., CBS) as a No. 9 seed against No. 8 seed Mississippi State.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Showtime At The Star. While both hoops squad are looking to show out in the Big Dance, over a dozen football alums are looking to show out in a different way.
This week, 13 former Bears are lacing them up and putting their best foot forward at the second annual Big 12 Pro Day hosted at The Star in Frisco.
Beginning on Tuesday and running through tomorrow, stars from all the Big 12 institutions are on hand to showcase their skills in front of professional organizations from around the NFL and around the world.
🔼 Young Gun. Six weeks of competition, four weekly awards for freshman Leavy McDonald. We’re not math majors, but we’re pretty sure that’s good.
McDonald has become a star quickly for the top-ranked Baylor Acrobatics & Tumbling squad and was named NCATA Freshman of the Week for fourth time after helping the Bears to a road victory over #15 Duquesne.
Payton Washington earned Honorable Mention Athlete, as well as Jordan Gruendler being named Honorable Mention Specialist for Acro.
The Bears have earned at least an Honorable Mention award in all six weeks of competition thus far.
🔼 New Additions. With spring football around the corner, the Baylor football staff announced three new additions for the upcoming season.
This week, the Bears welcomed Kaeron Johnson as Assistant Athletics Director for Football Relations, Connor Killian as Director of Football Strategy and Jadyn Wells as Director of On-Campus Recruiting.
🎥 BAYLOR+: THE SIC ‘EM POD
Winners of three straight, the Baylor equestrian squad is getting hot at
the right time with the Big 12 Championships just a few weeks away.
Get to know the leader of that program, Casie Maxwell, who is in her eighth season
with the Bears and has helped Baylor reach the top-10 nationally this year.
🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA
While Foster Pavilion will be hosting its first-ever NCAA Tournament game tomorrow, it’ll be the 21st time overall that the Baylor women’s program have played a home NCAA Tournament game.
