📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Takin’ Care Of Business. Baylor baseball beat Incarnate Word 16-7 last night! Brady Janusek led the offense with four RBI off three hits, while Tyce Armstrong hit a home run. Eight Baylor pitchers combined for eight strikeouts. The Bears will play at Houston this weekend.

🔼 Early Ending. Baylor softball defeated UT Arlington 8-0 in six innings, snapping a two-game losing streak against the Mavericks. Freshman Ella Brown hit a walk-off RBI double in the sixth inning to secure the run-rule victory. The win marked Baylor’s first against UTA since 2023 and improved their record to 21-9, their best through 30 games since 2023.

🔼 Student-Athletes. Baylor women’s basketball guard Jana Van Gytenbeek was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for her achievements on and off the court. She boasts a 3.63 GPA in Baylor’s sports management graduate program and finished the season with impressive statistics, including the ninth-most assists in the nation.

On the men’s side, Michael Rataj, a biochemistry major with a 3.83 GPA, was named to the Academic All-District Team. He averaged 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game this season.
