🔼 Hit Parade Tuesday. For the 12th time this year, the Baylor baseball team pounded out double-digit hits to lead the way to a 13-4 midweek victory over visiting UT Arlington on Tuesday night.
Four different Bears racked up multi-hit games, including redshirt sophomore infielder Travis Sanders who led the way with three hits, two of which being doubles. Senior outfielder Ty Johnson drove in three runs, while redshirt senior designated hitter Hunter Simmons, freshman infielder Pearson Riebock and redshirt sophomore outfielder Gavin Brzozowski each added two hits. Junior outfielder Caleb Bergman capped off the hit parade with his first-career home run.
The pitching staff made strong contributions as well, with six of the nine different arms that appeared on the mound tossing scoreless outings. Senior righty Will Glatch struck out the side, while sixth-year senior closer Gabe Craig picked up two punchouts in the late innings.

🔼 Among The Elite. On Tuesday, junior forward Darianna Littlepage-Buggs earned her rightful place among the nation’s elite collegiate hoopers.
Littlepage-Buggs was named a Regional Finalist for Coaches' All-America Team by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
As one of 50 finalists across the nation that will be shaved down into the 10-member WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches' All-America team, Littlepage-Buggs would become Baylor's first WBCA All-American since NaLyssa Smith earned the honor in back-to-back 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Littlepage-Buggs contributed 13.8 points per game in 28 games with 11 double-doubles. The Oklahoma City, Okla., native posted 19 games with double-digit points, 17 with double-digit rebounds, and put together a 20-point, 20-rebound game against UNLV, the first for a Bear since 2022. This season, Littlepage-Buggs was named Big 12 Player of the Week once, scored her 1,000th career point at Houston in February and is one of two players across Power Four conferences with eligibility remaining to average a double-double.
