🔼 Pilin’ Em Up. The trend continued once again for the top-ranked Baylor A&T squad.

For the seventh time this year, the Bears earned weekly recognition from the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA).

With the announcement, BU has earned an award, honorable mention or outright, in all seven weeks of competition thus far.

After defeating then-No. 8 Iona on Saturday, Leavy McDonald was named Freshman of the Week for the fifth time while sophomore Payton Washington was named Athlete of the Week for the fourth time. Senior Jordan Gruendler was named Honorable Mention Specialist of the Week for Acro.

🏈 CALLING THE BLITZ

This spring, Baylor Athletics is excited to unveil a brand new event in conjunction with Baylor spring football.

On Saturday, April 26, the Bears will host The Baylor Blitz, which a youth skills challenge, open practice and much, much more!

This fan-focused event will provide a unique opportunity for young athletes to engage with the program, while giving fans a look at the team as they conclude spring camp with a competitive open practice.

The event will kick off at 10 a.m. with the Baylor Blitz Youth Football Skills Challenge. This exclusive experience allows pre-registered participants (grades 3-8) to rotate through fun football drills while interacting with Baylor football players at each station.

Following the skills challenge, Baylor football student-athletes will take the field at noon for an open practice, featuring a competitive showcase of drills including 7-on-7, Perimeter, Down the Line, 1-on-1 challenges, and more.
