🔼 Cat Tamers. If the college baseball world wasn’t paying attention to the Baylor baseball boys yet, they surely are now.
The Bears flew into Arizona and are bringing home a series victory over the 12th-ranked Wildcats, taking the first two game of the series and clinching their first series victory over a nationally ranked opponent in over a year.
With a 3-1 week, BU moved up over 30 spots in the latest RPI rankings and now sit in the top-40 nationally.
Earned it.

🔼 Winner’s Circle Weekend. Now, THAT’s how you make a debut!
Playing in his first career PGA TOUR Americans event, former Baylor standout Ryan Grider flexed his muscles and earned his first pro victory, prevailing in a sudden-death playoff to win the 93 Abierto Telecom del Centro presentado por Zurich in Argentina on Sunday.
With the win, Grider becomes No. 1 in the Fortinet Cup and secures exempt membership on PGA TOUR Americas for the remainder of the 2025 season and through the Latin America Swing of 2026.
The 26-year-old claimed his first victory in his 12th career start in a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event. Previously, Grider competed in eight PGA TOUR Canada events across the 2021 and 2023 seasons and made three appearances on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022 and 2023.

🔼 Top-10 Dub. And the streak lives on.
The top-ranked Baylor A&T squad continued its dominance with another top-10 victory, this time toppling 10th-ranked Saint Leo, 277.45 to 249.94.
With the victory, the Bears pushed their active winning streak to 46 meets.
The highest score of the night was a perfect 10 in both the compulsory toss and open pyramid. These are the third and fourth perfect scores of the season but the first perfect scores in the compulsory and pyramid.
The last time BU had two 10s in the same meet was Frostburg State in 2023.

🔼 Mountain Men. The 15th-ranked Baylor men’s tennis squad had a little fun in the mountains this past weekend.
Facing two Big 12 opponents ranked in the top-60 nationally, the Bears grinded their way to back-to-back 4-2 victories over Utah (Thursday) and BYU (Saturday) to extend their win streak to three and improve to 17-8 overall this spring.

🔼 Three Of A Kind. A trio of Baylor equestrian student-athletes brought home some hardware from the Big 12 Championships this past weekend.
Alexis Rutledge was named the Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Year as well as to the All-Big 12 squad, Lauren Reid was selected for the All-Big 12 Flat team and Lauren Jorgensen was named to the All-Big 12 Fences team.
This marks only the second time a Baylor student-athlete has earned the Horsemanship Rider of the Year honor, with the first being Bryn Lindley in 2014. This also marks the second All-Big 12 honor overall for Reid, who was selected to the All-Big 12 Fences team last year.
