🔼 Hardware Haul. The luggage coming back from Texas Tech was a little heavier than when the Baylor track & field squads headed to Lubbock.

The Bears piled up record-setting and conference winning accolades with the women grabbing third and the men finishing ninth in a loaded field.

For the women, it was the best finish at Big 12 Indoors since 2017 and the best during the Coach Ford era.

Up next, Baylor will head to the national meet later this month.

🔼 Can’t Miss(i) Him. Watch out folks, we’ve got a former Bear on the prowl in the NBA.

That’s right, former Baylor standout Yves Missi is continuing his outstanding showing in his rookie season with New Orleans and on the hunt for the NBA Rookie of the Year.

Missi has scored in double-figures in three of the past four outings, two of which were of the double-double variety.

In a loss at Phoenix last week, the big man poured in a career-best 24 points, while grabbing five rebounds for the Pelicans.

A new face is a part of the defensive scheming this offseason for the Baylor football squad as coaching veteran Paul Gonzales arrived in Waco after spending 13 seasons at TCU.

Gonzales joined the Sic ‘Em Pod to talk about his coaching journey and why he’s excited to be with the Bears.
