On this episode of the Sic 'Em Podcast, we welcome new Baylor University defensive line coach Jacori Greer to the show. Greer shares his journey through the coaching ranks and what ultimately led him to Waco to join the Baylor football staff. Greer talks about the culture inside the Baylor program, the excitement around the team heading into the upcoming season, and what it means to be part of a program with such a strong tradition and passionate support from Bear Nation.

🔼 Milestone Met. Baylor men’s basketball defeated Utah 101-75, marking Scott Drew’s 500th career win. Drew, now one of 25 active DI coaches with 500 wins, expressed gratitude to the Baylor administration, players, and staff. Baylor, seeded 13th, will face Arizona State in the Big 12 Tournament tomorrow.

🔼 Sweepin’ Weekend. Baylor softball swept Iowa State to begin Big 12 play! They started the weekend with two wins in Friday’s doubleheader with scores of 8-1 and 4-2. Brooklyn Carter recorded four hits on the day. Baylor completed the series sweep of Iowa State with a dramatic 5-4 walk-off win on Sunday. The Bears, who led 4-0 before the game was suspended due to rain, secured the win in the seventh inning on a Cyclone throwing error.

🔼 Series Sweep. Baylor baseball swept Air Force over the weekend! They shutout the Falcons 7-0 on Friday. Saturday’s game got pushed to Sunday due to weather, leading to a Sunday doubleheader. The Bears beat Air Force 5-4 and 6-1 on Sunday.

🔼 Best Of Three. The top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team defeated Long Island and American International in a tri-meet on Saturday. Baylor won all five events, achieving two perfect 10 scores, and finished with a total score of 279.18, defeating Long Island by 41.74 points. The Bears will take on No. 4 Iona on the road today at 1 p.m.
