📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Not Foolin’ Around. Two of the most not talked about, but hottest baseball teams in the state meet up tonight at Baylor Ballpark as the Bears return home after a huge series victory at #12 Arizona to host a strong Houston Christian squad.

BU sits at 19-8 on the year, while HCU is 17-8 this season.

On the line is Baylor’s perfect 6-0 mark in midweek games when the two teams do battle at 6:30 tonight.

🔼 Welcome To Waco. A high powered scoring guard is heading to Waco.

On Monday afternoon, BU women’s head coach Nicki Collen announced the addition of Auburn transfer guard Taliah Scott to the Bears.

Only playing three games with the Tigers in her lone season at Auburn, Scott averaged 20.3 points per game with two 20-point contests against Little Rock and No. 23 Oregon. Her Auburn debut against the Trojans saw records fall, as the sophomore tied the team record of eight 3-pointers in a single game, also breaking the Neville Arena best mark in her first and only showing on the navy and orange court.

Before her year at Auburn. Scott averaged 22.1 points per game in 20 appearances with the Arkansas Razorbacks, earning SEC All-Freshman Team honors. She was named SEC Freshman of the Week five times and led Arkansas in scoring and free-throw percentage (83.8%), along with league-high marks for points and minutes per game.

🔼 Welcome To The Family. The women’s hoops squad wasn’t the only one who added a prolific scorer for next year.

Late on Monday, the men’s squad announced the addition of Wyoming transfer Obi Agbim.

The six-foot-three guard was named to the All-Mountain West Third Team in addition to being the conference's Newcomer of the Year in 2024-25. In Laramie, he averaged 17.6 points and 3.4 assists a game while shooting .469 from the field and .437 from three-point range.

🔼 Off With A Bang. After mashing a career-high 29 HRs last season for Oakland, former BU standout Shea Langeliers is off to his old tricks already.

Langeliers launched a two-run shot this past weekend to help the A’s to a victory in Seattle in just his second game of the 2025 season.
