🔼 Playoff Bound. Tonight, the NBA season takes on a whole new level.
For the next four nights, eight teams will battle for their playoffs lives as part of the 2025 Play-In Tournament for the final eight-team playoff for both the Eastern and Western Conference.
Davion Mitchell will be a part of the action as the 10th-seeded Heat take on the 9th-seeded Bulls for the right to move on and battle for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Three other former BU standouts are already locked into playoff spots with Adam Flagler and the OKC Thunder holding the NBA’s best record and top seed in the Western Conference.
RayJ Dennis (Pacers) and Taurean Prince (Bucks) will face off against each other in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, set to begin this weekend.

🔼 Flyin’ High. For the 15th time in the past 10 WNBA drafts, a Bear heard her name called.
On Monday night in New York City, Baylor’s Aaronette Vonleh was selected by the Dallas Wings in the third round as the 31st overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
The pick marks Nicki Collen's fourth selection to the league at Baylor, the program's 25th overall.
Coming off a Second Team All-Big 12 season in her lone campaign in Waco, Vonleh was the leading scorer for BU with 538 points, enough for 14.9 per game, shooting a team-high 58.5%. The Oregon native averaged 5.8 rebounds off the rim and was named to the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team for a stellar performance in Kansas City, putting up 23 points per game throughout the bracket, including a career-high 37 against No. 21 Oklahoma State to send BU to its 16th finals appearance.

🔼 Tourney Time. Those former Bears aren’t the only one chasing a trophy this time of year.
Today in Hockley, the Baylor women’s golf team will tee it up at the 2025 Big 12 Championships, hosted at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
