š¼ New Addition. Baylor womenās basketball coach Nicki Collen announced the addition of Ole Miss transfer Tianna Thompson to the program. Thompson, a versatile guard known for her elite shot-making ability, led the Rebels in 3-point shooting last season. The Atlanta native, who began her collegiate career at Georgia Tech, was a highly-touted recruit and a multiple-time all-state selection in high school.
š„ Highlights
š¼ Turn Up. Baylor womenās basketball also signed Georgia transfer Trinity Turner to the program. Turner, a proven point guard from the SEC, averaged 11.5 points and 3.8 assists per game during her two-year stint at Georgia. She was a four-star recruit out of high school and led Dr. Phillips High School to three Class 7A state championships.

š¼ This Is Family. Baylor menās tennis senior Zsombor Velcz reflects on his journey from Budapest to Waco, highlighting the cultural shock and the profound impact of being part of a team. He emphasizes the strong bonds heās formed with his teammates, particularly during challenging times like the loss of Devin Badenhorstās family members. Velcz, who values education and the opportunity to play college tennis, has excelled at Baylor, earning All-Big 12 honors and contributing to the teamās success.
The menās tennis team begins postseason play today at the Big 12 Championship. Theyāll take on Utah at 9 a.m.
š¼ Tourney Time. No. 6 seed Baylor womenās tennis also begins Big 12 Tournament play today! Theyāll take on 3-seed TCU at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
