🔼  Pen To Paper. Baylor men’s basketball signed Kayden Mingo, a 6-3 guard from Penn State, who averaged 13.7 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game as a freshman. Mingo, a top-40 recruit out of high school, will join the Bears with three years of eligibility remaining.

🎥 Highlights

🔼 Big Weekend. Baylor baseball will host TCU this weekend! Tonight is Go Gold night at Baylor Ballpark and the first 250 fans will receive golf trucker hats. The series continues tomorrow at 2 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 1 p.m.

🔼 Dogs At The Diamond. Baylor softball will host Utah this weekend, beginning tonight at 6:30 p.m. Tomorrow’s 1 p.m. game is the Dogs at the Diamond game and there will be a Dachshund race afterwards, so bring your furry friend and support the Bears! Baylor will also honor the 2011 College World Series team on Saturday. The series finale is on Sunday at 11 a.m.

🔼 Moving On. No. 11 Baylor men’s tennis beat Utah 4-1 at the Big 12 Championships yesterday. The Bears move on to the semifinals and will play TCU today at 1 p.m.

🔼 Getting Her Shot. Baylor’s Bella Fontleroy signed a training camp contract with the Atlanta Dream. She averaged 9.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game in 2025-26. Training camps begin on April 19.

🔼  Teaming Up. Nix Biosensors and Baylor Athletics have partnered for two years, making Nix the Official Hydration Biosensor Supplier. Baylor will deploy Nix Pro, a hydration monitoring platform, across all 19 Division I athletic programs, benefiting approximately 450 student-athletes. This partnership aims to revolutionize hydration protocols by providing individualized data, enabling tailored hydration strategies and enhancing athlete performance and safety.
