📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Comeback Kids. Baylor softball took two from Utah to win another Big 12 series! The Bears started the weekend with a 9-1 run-rule win on Friday. They dropped Saturday’s game 8-2 as Utah evened things up. They secured the series with a 3-2 walk-off win! Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Baylor capitalized on Utah errors to complete the comeback. The win keeps Baylor in contention for a spot in the Big 12 Tournament.

🔼  Friday Night Lights. Baylor defeated TCU 11-4 at Magnolia Field to start the weekend on Friday night. Baylor overcame early deficits, taking the lead in the fifth inning and extending it with a five-run eighth inning. Baylor’s pitching, particularly starter Lucas Davenport, and strong offensive performances, including Travis Sanders’ three hits and four RBIs, led to the win. The Bears went on to drop both games of Sunday’s doubleheader.

🔼 Sky High. Baylor women’s basketball has signed Skylar Jones, a transfer from Louisville, for her final year. Jones, a versatile 6-foot guard, brings defensive prowess and offensive scoring ability, having averaged 8.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game at Louisville. She brings Big 12 experience as she previously played at Arizona.
