On this episode of the Sic ’Em Podcast, we sit down with Grace Carroll from Baylor volleyball for a conversation that goes beyond the court. Grace opens up about her journey to Baylor, plus the discipline and mindset required to compete at the Division I level. It’s a candid look at the work, leadership, and passion behind Baylor volleyball giving fans a deeper understanding of the person behind the jersey.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Tall Task Ahead. Baylor softball heads west for a big road series to close out the regular season at No. 2 Texas Tech. The series begins tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. The Bears are looking to snap a four-game skid against the Red Raiders.

🔼 We’re In! Baylor women’s golf will host the NCAA Waco Regional at Ridgewood Country Club, seeded fifth in a strong field. The top five teams from each regional advance to the NCAA Championships.

🔼 Heard That. Baylor men’s golf team tied for seventh place at the Big 12 Championship, finishing eight spots above their seeding. Alex Heard earned All-Tournament honors, tying for 11th place. The team will await NCAA selections, announced on May 6.

🔼 First Love. Senior men’s golfer Jonas Appel has been passionate about golf since childhood. Despite a challenging freshman season, he became a key player, notably helping his team advance to the NCAA Championship as a sophomore in 2024. Now considering a professional golf career, Jonas is also exploring opportunities in finance, particularly within the golf industry.
