On this episode of the Sic ’Em Podcast, we sit down with Baylor Football’s new cornerbacks coach, Jeremy Modkins, to talk ball, leadership, and building the next wave of elite defensive backs in Waco. With years of experience developing playmakers in the secondary, Modkins shares his coaching philosophy, what he looks for in a lockdown corner, and how he plans to bring energy, discipline, and confidence to the Bears’ defensive back room.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Mo’ Hardware. The 24th-ranked Baylor women’s golf team finished second at The “Mo” Morial at Traditions Club, overcoming a slow start to shoot 8-over 296. Bridget Boczar tied for second place, marking her best finish at Baylor, while Charlotte Brook and Malena Castro also placed in the top 10. The team will next compete in the Big 12 Championships at the Dallas Athletic Club.

🔼 All-American Girls. Baylor equestrian riders Lauren Reid and Lauren Jorgensen were named to the 2025-26 Ariat All-America Teams. Reid earned a spot on the Flat First Team, while Jorgensen landed on the Fences Second Team. Both earned their first-career All-America recognition.

🔼 On The Road, Again. The 11th-ranked men’s tennis team is on the road again after winning all five of the last home matches. They’ll play at No. 70 Texas Tech today at 5 p.m.
