🔼 Here’s Johnnyyyyy. For five years, he was a legend on the Baylor men’s golf program.

Success followed Johnny Keefer everywhere he went and so it should be no surprise the former Bear is finding immediate success in his professional golf career.

This week, that career takes on a whole new level as Keefer earned a spot at his first major tournament, the 2026 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte.

🔼 New Stage, Same Result. Last season, Norchad Omier did what he did throughout his collegiate career, double-double after double-double-double after double-double.

Omier is among a group showcasing their skills this week at G League Elite camp and any guesses what he did in his first outing?

Yup, you guessed it…. 13 points, 15 rebounds in just over 16 minutes of action. 

🔼 Whaddaya Say Shea! Last year, former Baylor standout Shea Langeliers posted career bests in HRs (29), RBIs (80) and batting average (.224).

This season, he’s out for more.

Not only has he been a key cog for the young and upcoming Athletics, but over the weekend, he blasted his eighth HR of the season in just 35 games, the third most by any catcher in the big leagues this year. He’s hitting a career best .248 and has 22 RBIs as well.

🔼 Will To Win. Another new face is joining the Baylor men’s hoops program as Coach Drew and staff added their eighth transfer of the offseason with the signing of Arizona transfer Will Kuykendall.
 
The 6-foot-2 guard appeared in three games for the Wildcats last season after redshirting in 2023-24.
 
A former high school teammate of Baylor signee Tounde Yessoufou, Kuykendall appeared in three games for the Wildcats a season ago as the Wildcats made a run to their second-straight Sweet 16. After walking on as a freshman, he elected to take a redshirt year in 2023-24.
