šŸ”¼ Marchin’ On. The eighth-seeded Baylor Baseball squad came from behind to defeat ninth-seeded BYU, 13-9, on Wednesday evening at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Ariz., to advance to the 2026 Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals.

The Bears used a combined seven-hit, seven-run, eight-RBI performance from their three-headed monster trio of redshirt junior infielder Travis Sanders, redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong and freshman outfielder Brady Janusek to eliminate the Cougars.

Senior left-handed pitcher Ethan Calder got the win after making his first relief appearance in over two years and going 4.2 innings on the mound, allowing just two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out eight batters.

šŸ”¼ Hometown Hero. For one season, Ja’Kobe Walter thrilled the Baylor men’s basketball fans with highlight reels plays throughout the 2023-24 season.

Now two seasons into his NBA career, Walter is earning praise in his hometown for all of his accomplishments.

šŸ”¼ All American Guy. Add another line to the 2026 resume of Baylor men’s tennis junior Devin Badenhorst.

This week, Badenhorst was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American after finishing the 2026 season ranked No. 10 in the final ITA national singles rankings.

A 6-foot-7 native of Pretoria, South Africa, he reached as high as No. 7 in the ITA rankings during the spring season, while playing No. 1 singles for the Bears. The All-American honor is awarded to players who finish the season ranked in the top 20 of the final ITA singles rankings.
