🎥 BAYLOR+: SENIOR SALUTE

The Baylor baseball squad has reached new heights in 2025, improving their win total by 11 from the previous season. A big part of the success from this season was
a senior class that helped rebuild the foundation of the program.

Coach Thompson sat down to talk about what the senior class has meant
to him, the program and the University.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Alexis The Great. The list just keeps growing and growing for Baylor track & field’s Alexis Brown.

This week, Brown made her career debut on the prestigious Bowerman Watch List based on the most recent update released by the organization.  
 
She is only the second Baylor woman to be named to the watch list, joining Aaliyah Miller (2021).
 
With the help of Brown, the BU women's long jump event group currently ranks No. 1 in the nation and the 100m event group ranks No. 4. Overall, the women's team ranks No. 8, having held inside the top-10 for all of the 2025 outdoor season.
 
The final Bowerman watch list update is scheduled to occur Wednesday, June 4 (women), and Thursday, June 5 (men). Looking ahead, semifinalists for the award will be announced Wednesday, June 25 (women), and Thursday, June 26 (men). Finalists will be announced the week of Monday, June 30.

🔼 There He Goes Again. Baylor Hall of Famer Max Muncy has notched 556 RBIs in his Major League career.

But those walk-off RBIs are always a bit different.

Muncy delivered one of those for his Dodgers squad on Tuesday night, lifting a sac fly to in the bottom of the 10th to give Los Angeles the 4-3 victory over Arizona.

🔼 One To Remember. It’s one of those seasons that you just don’t want to end.

Unfortunately, that’s what happened in a Big 12 heartbreaker for the Baylor baseball team as the Bears dropped a tough, hard-fought battle to Oklahoma State, 4-3, in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament on Wednesday at Globe Life Park.

Hurlers Ethan Calder and Gabe Craig combined to strike out nine in 6.2 innings of work, but the Cowboys scratched out three runs in the final three frames to pull out the victory.

Finishing with 33 victories on the year, the Bears saw an 11-win improve from 2024 and are looking for even more next year.

🔼 99 Days. It may not even be summertime yet, but let’s be honest, is there ever a bad time to start thinking about football season?

Today officially marks 99 days until the start of the Baylor football season, a year that is marked with high expectations, including several early-preseason Top-25 looks for the Bears.
