As Baylor Football turns the page from spring practice, Head Coach Dave Aranda sits down with John Morris to reflect on the Bears’ progress heading into the 2026 season. Aranda discusses the team’s mindset, the impact of new coaches and players, and the importance of building strong relationships and culture as Baylor prepares for the summer and the upcoming season. Presented by Central National Bank.
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Showing Her Light. Junior pole vaulter Molly Haywood has achieved numerous accolades, including four consecutive Big 12 championships and a gold medal at the U20 World Championships. She credits her success to the supportive pole-vaulting community and her coach, Brandon Richards. While aiming for a top-three finish at this week’s NCAA Outdoor Championship, Molly also sets her sights on the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

🔼 Called Up. Baylor soccer’s Azul Alvarez has been called up to the U23 Mexican National Team! The goalie recorded 97 saves in goal last season with 12 shutout wins.
Additionally, Noelle Sather was called up to the U20 Canadian National Team.

🔼 Moving On. Baylor men’s track & field’s Demario Prince, Malik Franklin, and Aren Spencer advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA West Prelims. Prince won his heat in the 110-meter hurdles, while Franklin and Spencer qualified in the 400 meters. They’ll compete again today.
