Get to know the newest addition to the Baylor men’s basketball staff as Assistant Coach and General Manager Jake Lindsey sits down with John Morris for an in-depth introductory conversation. A former Baylor Bears Men's Basketball standout and one of the most respected basketball minds in the program’s recent history, Lindsey returns to Waco with a unique dual role that blends on-court coaching with roster building, player development, and program strategy.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 From Waco To San Mo. Baylor baseball travels to San Marcos today for a matchup at Texas State. They’ll play at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Unbelievable Batting. Fifth-year senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong hit two home runs in Baylor’s doubleheader sweep of Texas Tech on Saturday, bringing his season total to 21. Armstrong, who hit three grand slams in the season opener, credits his recent success to adjustments and confidence. With being tied for the home run school record, Armstrong remains focused on his performance rather than the record.

🔼 Stepping Up. Men’s tennis senior Alexandru Chirita clinched Baylor’s 4-1 victory over Auburn, advancing the Bears to the Round of 16 for the first time since 2022. He had lost six consecutive matches at one point and won just once in the previous month, bringing his overall record to 10-10 in the spring. Despite that slump, Chirita rose to the occasion in singles and doubles against Auburn. Chirita downplayed the pressure of clinching, saying he focused point by point and simply enjoyed the moment when it came.
