📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Bears Sweep. Baylor baseball players Tyce Armstrong and Lucas Davenport swept the Big 12 weekly awards! Armstrong, named Player of the Week and Co-Newcomer of the Week, tied the program’s single-season home run record with his 21st homer of the year as part of his five-home run week. He was also named Perfect Game’s National Player of the Week. Davenport, named Co-Pitcher of the Week, threw a complete game against Texas Tech, allowing only four hits and striking out 11.

🔼 Happy To Host. The 26th-ranked and fifth-seeded Baylor women’s golf team will host the NCAA Waco Regional next Monday-Wednesday, May 11-13, at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco. Among the teams joining the Bears in Waco are fourth-ranked Texas A&M, No. 8 Oregon, No. 16 Tennessee, 21st-ranked SMU and No. 36 LSU.

Top five teams and top two individuals (on non-advancing teams) advance to the NCAA Championship, which will be held May 23-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Baylor has made five-consecutive NCAA Championship appearances and seven in the last eight possible years.

This is the first time Baylor and Waco have hosted a major collegiate golf tournament since the 2007 Big 12 Women’s Golf Championship at Ridgewood, where the Bears finished third behind Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.

🔼 Season Recap. The 2026 season was another one to remember for Baylor A&T! The Bears won their 11th straight national title and extended their meet winning streak to 60. They even adopted groundbreaking new moves to the sport.
