This week on the Sic 'Em Podcast, longtime Baylor Softball Associate Head Coach Britni Newman reflects on more than two decades of shaping student-athletes, building the Baylor Softball culture, and creating lasting memories along the way. As she steps away from coaching and into a new chapter focused on family and her children, Newman shares stories from her remarkable career, the relationships that meant the most, and the lessons she'll carry forward beyond the diamond.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 All-American Girls. Baylor women’s track & field earned multiple All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Pole vaulters Molly Haywood and Tenly Kuhn finished fifth and eighth, respectively. Tiriah Kelley finished eighth in the 200m finals on Saturday to earn All-America status.

🔼  Third Timer. Baylor men’s track & field’s Demario Prince finished sixth in the 110m hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships to earn his third All-America honor. He went toe-to-toe with world record-setter Ja’Kobe Tharp and Kendrick Smallwood until he stumbled over the final hurdle. Prince will compete in the Jamaican Trials this week.

🔼 New Addition. Baylor women’s tennis announced the addition of Kenna Erickson. She transfers to Baylor from LSU, where she compiled a 38-32 singles and 51-35 doubles record in three seasons. She’s a native of Lakeway, Texas, where she was the No. 3 recruit in the state in the Class of 2024.
