🔼 Nate The Great. It was quite a Friday for Nathaniel Ezekiel as he joined an exclusive club for the Baylor track & field program.

With his time, Ezekiel broke his own BU program record, the Nigerian national record and now has the No. 2 time in the World this season. The Bowerman Watchlist candidate now holds the third, seventh, eighth and ninth fastest times in NCAA 400mH history.
 
He is the first National Champion for Baylor in the 400mH since Bayano Kamani in 2001 and only the third Bear to win the event. The Delta State, Nigerian is the 18th Outdoor National Champion in Baylor track & field history.

🔼 New Crew. It was a busy weekend for the Baylor softball program as the Bears prepare for next spring.

Three incoming sophomore transfers signed on to join the Bears for next spring, including pitchers Peyton Tanner (Tennessee) and Cambree Creager (Arizona State), as well as infielder S’Mya Jones (LSU).

In addition to Ezekiel’s championship performance in Eugene, Demario Prince had a big weekend as well, earning First Team All-American accolades with his fifth place finish in the 110m hurdles.
