Ezekiel Named National Track Athlete Of The Year by USTFCCCA

🐻The Official Daily Newsletter For Baylor Athletics
Happy Tuesday Baylor Fam. Nathaniel Ezekiel was barely a year old the last time a Bear was named National Track Athlete of the Year.
But don’t worry, he was probably winning races back then too!
What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below!

⏱️ Countdown To Kickoff
🐻 And much, much more!
⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 6️⃣6️⃣ DAYS
That’s right, we are just 6️⃣6️⃣ days away from kickoff of the 2025 season!

Wearing #6️⃣6️⃣ this year will be redshirt freshman Koltin Sieracki, a rising star on the offensive line for the Bears.
Last season, he served as the back-up center for Baylor, but was able to preserve his redshirt and will be an integral part of the Bears’ offensive line room.
He arrived in Waco after starring at The Woodlands High School, where he was a three-star recruit.
And oh yeah, he’s got a familiar face in the room as he is the brother of sophomore OL Kaden Sieracki.

🔼 Best Of The Best. His Baylor career may have ended a few weeks ago, but Nathaniel Ezekiel is still bringing home accolades.
The Bowerman watchlist recipient is the first Baylor athlete to win the USTFCCCA award since 2004 in Jeremy Wariner. The award comes after Ezekiel was named South Central Regional Track Athlete of the Year on Friday.
Ezekiel made history at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, running his final lap in a Baylor uniform with a personal-best of 47.49 and the No. 3 all-time mark in collegiate history to win the 400-meter hurdles title. The Nigerian senior is the first national champion for Baylor in the 400mH since Bayano Kamani in 2001 and only the third Bear to win the event.

🔼 Gabe The Great. And the resume continues to grow for Baylor hurler Gabe Craig.
The sixth-year senior added another First Team All-American honor to his list of accomplishments in 2025, this time from Baseball America.
This marks Craig's second first-team honor and third overall All-America recognition of the 2025 season, making him the most decorated BU All-American since 2019.
Craig is BU's first first-team All-American since Kyle Hill earned first-team honors from five different publications in 2019. Craig is the 11th different Bear in program history to earn first-team praise for a total of 29 times.
🤸 COMING SOON…
