📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Ring Chasing. For the first time since 1990, a Baylor alum will hoist the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy.
Vinnie Johnson (1989 and 1990) and Michael Williams (1989) are the only two former Bears to ever be a part of an NBA Championship team, but tonight, a pair of Bears will be on opposite benches when the 2025 NBA Finals tip-off in OKC.
Adam Flagler, a backup guard for the Thunder, and RayJ Dennis, a backup guard for the Pacers will square off with their teams chasing a ring.

🔼 In Good Company. It’s a special day when you’re named a finalist for a national award.
When you’re named a finalist for TWO national awards, that's a whole other level.
That was Gabe Craig’s Wednesday as the stopper for the Bears this spring was named a finalist for the National Pitcher of the Year AND the Stopper of the Year.
Craig finished the 2025 season with a 3-0 record and earned 10 saves in 32 innings of work. He struck out 51 batters and walked just three, holding opponents to a .124 batting average. He led the country with a microscopic 0.56 ERA, a 0.50 WHIP and a 17:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Craig also ranked second nationally in H/9 (3.66) and BB/9 (0.84) and owned the sixth-best K/9 (14.34).
Of his 24 appearances, Craig logged 22 scoreless outings, 14 hitless outings, and struck out at least two batters 16 times. He finished the year on a 20.1-inning scoreless streak across his last 12 appearances, a stretch that spanned back to April 4.
🔼 To The Max. We tried to tell ‘em…. Don’t let him get hot.
Welp, they let Baylor Athletics Hall of Famer Max Muncy get hot and he’s torrid right now for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In the past week, Muncy is 9-for-22 with six HRs and 14 RBIs, while hitting .409 and an on-base percentage of .500 for Los Angeles, who is sporting one of the best records in all of baseball yet again.
🏈 AMONG THE ELITE
Congratulations to Heisman Trophy Winners @markingramII, @CameronNewton and @RGIII on being named on the 2026 @NFFNetwork College Football Hall of Fame Ballot!

Whenever the words “Hall of Fame” are involved, it’s something special.
On Monday afternoon, Baylor legend Robert Griffin III earned his spot among the elite as he was featured on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
The 2011 Heisman Trophy winner, Griffin had a historic career for the Bears from 2008-11. He set or tied 54 school records, including 20 career marks, 26 single-season and eight single-game records, including career passing yards, total offense, completions and passing TDs. He was a consensus first-team All-American in 2011, helping lead the Bears to a No. 12 nationally ranking, which came after a 2010 season that saw BU advance to its first bowl game in 16 years.
Griffin boasts a bevy of awards from his Baylor career, in addition to the Heisman, including Big 12 Male Athlete of the year, the Davey O'Brien and Manning Awards, and freshman All-America honors in 2008. He was inducted into the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022 and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
A two-time academic All-American, a three-time dean's list selection and a 10-time academic honoree by the Big 12 Conference, Griffin graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science in 2010.
🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA
