⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 5️⃣9️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are just 5️⃣9️⃣ days away from kickoff of the 2025 season!

After battling through some injuries #5️⃣9️⃣ Devonte Tezino emerged as a critical piece to the defensive line unit in the final 11 games of 2024.

He finished the season with 25 tackles from his defensive tackle position, including three TFLs.

The redshirt junior has played in 15 games in his Baylor career, racking up 30 tackles, five TFLs and a sack.

🔼 Making a STATEment. Baylor football's Omar Aigbedion, Travion Barnes, Josh Cameron, Jackie Marshall, Sawyer Robertson, Keaton Thomas and Bryson Washington have been named Preseason All-Texas selections, as announced Monday by Dave Campbell's Texas Football.
 
Cameron, Thomas and Washington were each named to the first team, while Aigbedion, Barnes, Marshall, and Robertson were tabbed to the second team. BU's seven total honorees are the fourth-most in the state.

🔼 Vegas BABY! For the second time in less than a year, former Baylor women’s hoops standout NaLyssa Smith has a new mailing address.

After a three-year stint with Indiana to start her WNBA career, Smith moved to the Dallas Wings this offseason and was averaging 6.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in about 20 minutes of action per game.

Now, Smith is on the move after being traded on Monday to the Las Vegas Aces.
