⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 7️⃣ WEEKS
That’s right, we are just 7️⃣ weeks away from kickoff of the 2025 season!

One of the most electric players in Baylor football’s recent memory wore #7️⃣ in running back Abram Smith.
During his senior season of 2021, Smith lit up the ground, setting a program record with 1,621 yards, as well as a record nine 100+ yard rushing games.
His record-breaking season earned him All-Big 12 Second Team accolades and Honorable Mention Offensive Player of the Year.

🔼 Showin’ Out. These Baylor Bears mean business.
A trio of former BU standouts had BIG nights on Thursday in NBA Summer League action, led by RayJ Dennis who sparked the Pacers to a victory with a 26-point, nine assist, four rebound performance, which include four 3-pointers.
Norchad Omier did what he always does and nearly posted yet another double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Yves Missi had a strong night with a 13-point, 13-rebound outing for the Pelicans.

🔼 Leaving No Doubt. Only two matches into the Volleyball Nations League in Puerto Rico, Avery Skinner is making her presence felt for Team USA.
Skinner has led her team with 37 points through the first two matches, including 34 kills, while also racking up 17 digs.
Team USA is a perfect 2-0 with 3-1 victories over Thailand and the Dominican Republic.
Up next are weekend showdowns with Canada (Saturday) and China (Sunday)

🔼 Add It To The Collection. Earlier this summer, former Baylor standout Yves Missi earned a spot on the NBA All-Rookie squad, being selected to the second team.
This week, Missi received his hardware.
Missi contributed to a much greater degree than the majority of the players picked in the 20 spots before him on draft night, finishing ninth in scoring (9.1 ppg), second in rebounding (8.2 rpg) and third in blocks (1.3 bpg) among first-year pros (minimum 50 games played for all categories).
