📈 STOCK UP

🔼 All-American Guys. Four Baylor football standouts have been named preseason All-America and 12 Bears earned preseason All-Big 12 Conference honors on Tuesday.

Punt returner Josh Cameron (first team), linebacker Keaton Thomas (fourth team), running back Bryson Washington (third team) and punter Palmer Williams (third team) each earned preseason All-America honors from Athlon Sports.

🔼 Academic Ace. Not only was Gabe Craig an ace on the mound for the Baylor baseball squad this spring, he was an ace in the classroom as well.

Sixth-year senior right-handed pitcher Gabe Craig was named to the 2025 Academic All-America Third Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators.

Craig, a graduate student, completed his undergrad degree in corporate communication with a 3.69 GPA and owned a 3.72 GPA in grad school for sport management. On the diamond, Craig led the country with a microscopic 0.56 ERA, a 0.50 WHIP and a 17:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio during a season that saw him land five All-America honors. Craig finished the year with a 3-0 record and earned 10 saves, the most by a Bear since 2018.

One of four relief pitchers nationally to earn five or more All-America accolades, including three first-team honors, Craig was also named one of five finalists for the 2025 College Baseball Foundation National Pitcher of the Year Award. Additionally, Craig became the second Bear in program history to be named a finalist for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award.
