Baylor Men's Tennis Associate Head Coach Izak van der Merwe sits down for this episode of The Sic ‘Em Podcast. He departs from Baylor after spending eight seasons with the Bears.

🔼 Coast To Coast. Baylor baseball players are shining in their respective summer leagues! Bo Caraway was named an All-Star in the Prospect League with the Lafayette Aviators. Tate Derias earned All-Star status in the Cape Cod League after shining with the Brewster Whitecaps. Kurt Ippolito and TJ Woodson were named California Collegiate League All-Stars with their respective teams.

🔼 Across The Pond. Former Baylor men’s golfer Johnny Keefer finished tied for 59th at The Open in England. He shot 2-over par throughout the weekend. Keefer has made the cut in three of this year’s four majors.

🔼 Welcome Home. Baylor men’s tennis announced the hiring of Jordan Gobatie as assistant coach. He spent the last two seasons at Arizona, contributing to historic runs to the Elite Eight and Sweet 16.
