🔼 Texas Tussle. Baylor men’s basketball restores its rivalry with Texas this year! They’ll play the Longhorns in the San Antonio Hoops Showdown on Nov. 15 at Frost Bank Center. Tickets will go on sale on Oct. 1, with a one-day presale the day before. Fans can log on to the Frost Bank Center website and register for information and be eligible for ticket presale access.
🔼 Summer Hoops. Seven former Bears played in the NBA Summer League this month! Let’s see how they did:
Cameron Carr scored double figures in four of his five games with the Los Angeles Lakers. He had a game-high 23 points in their win over the Clippers. He averaged 18.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game.
Norchad Omier finished Summer League with back-to-back double-doubles for the LA Clippers.
Adam Flagler recorded 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in the Sacramento Kings’ win over Charlotte. He went on to score 11 points again against the Boston Celtics.
Kendall Brown scored 11 points in the Miami Heat’s finale against Detroit.
RayJ Dennis made an immediate impact for the Atlanta Hawks. He scored 10 points, three assists, three steals, and two rebounds in a win against San Antonio before suffering a right Achilles injury.
Jalen Bridges led the Portland Trail Blazers with 16 points and six rebounds against Utah.
Jayden Nunn had four steals for the San Antonio Spurs against Miami. He averaged 14.7 minutes per game during Summer League.
