⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 3️⃣2️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are just 3️⃣2️⃣ days away from kicking off the 2025 season!

Former Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty threw for 3️⃣2️⃣ touchdowns in the 2013 season. That wasn’t all, he also rushed for 14 touchdowns.

Bryce Petty led the Bears to back-to-back Big 12 Conference championships as a two-year started with a 21-4 record. He owns 31 school, two Big 12, and one NCAA record. He also won the 2013 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, 2013 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, 2013-14 Big 12 Male Athlete of the Year, and the 2014 Bobby Bowden Award.

He was selected 103rd overall by the New York Jets in the 2014 NFL Draft.

🔼 Shining Silver. Team USA, represented by the Baylor men’s basketball team, is coming home from the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games with a silver medal! They dropped the championship game to Team Brazil in overtime, 94-88. Obi Agbim scored a tournament-high 30 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and three steals. Cameron Carr also played a big role, scoring 26 points.

🔼 TOUR Bound. Former Baylor men’s golfer Johnny Keefer won the NV5 Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour! The win clinched his PGA TOUR card for next season. He has two wins and two runner-up finishes this season.

🔼 Home, Sweet Home. Former Baylor baseball star Shea Langeliers felt right at home as he spent the weekend back in Texas! The Athletics’ catcher hit home runs in three-straight games against the Houston Astros. It’s good to see him back in Texas wearing Baylor colors.
