⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 3️⃣1️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are just 3️⃣1️⃣ days away from kicking off the 2025 season!

Back in 2016, Baylor defeated Boise State in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl 3️⃣1️⃣-12. It was the seventh-straight bowl appearance for the Bears, a school record.

Wide receiver KD Cannon was named the Cactus Bowl Offensive MVP, setting the bowl record for receiving yards. He had a career-high 226 receiving yards, a Baylor bowl record. Defensive end Tyrone Hunt earned Cactus Bowl Defensive MVP with five tackles and two career sacks.

🔼 The Hall Calls. The 2025 Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame class was revealed yesterday! The Hall of Fame banquet is set for November 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hurd Welcome Center Grand Ballroom.

🔼 Double Trouble. Baylor is one of 17 schools with multiple players on the Maxwell Award Watch List. Quarterback Sawyer Robertson and running back Bryson Washington made the list for the nation’s most outstanding player award. This honor adds to a lengthy list of preseason praise for the Bears.

🔼 Dunk You Very Much. Men’s basketball’s Cam Carr was a rim rocker against Brazil in the FISU World University Games championship! Check out some of his top plays.
