Baylor Men's Basketball Head Coach Scott Drew joins Baylor+ to reflect on his NBA Draft experience and the excitement of watching Cameron Carr hear his name called. Drew shares his thoughts on Carr’s journey to the NBA, what makes him such a valuable prospect, and why his athleticism, versatility, and work ethic will make him a tremendous asset at the next level. He also discusses Baylor’s continued success in developing NBA talent and what Carr’s achievement means for the program.

🔼 Standing In The Hall Of Fame. The 2026 Baylor Hall of Fame Class has been announced! The inductees will be honored on Nov. 21 during Baylor’s football game against Texas Tech. The class features:

John Morris - Voice of the Bears
Quincy Acy - Men’s Basketball
Trayvon Bromell - Track & Field
Zane Carlson - Baseball
Corey Coleman - Football
Hayley Davis - Women’s Golf
Bill Martineson - Track & Field
Tiffani McReynolds - Track & Field
David Sibley - Men’s Basketball (Wall of Honor)

🔼 Free Family Fun. Baylor Athletics also announced its lineup of student-athlete and coaching staff appearances for Summer on Turner Plaza at Foster Pavilion, a free family-friendly community event series held each Thursday evening in July on Turner Plaza outside Foster Pavilion. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Baylor student-athletes and coaches, take photos, and participate in interactive activities. This Thursday, the men’s and women’s basketball teams will be in attendance from 6-8 p.m.
