🔼 From The Inside Out. Baylor head football coach Dave Aranda prioritized strengthening the defensive line this year, bringing in several transfers through the portal. The Bears are focused on building a strong identity and playing fast under new defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman. The team is optimistic about the upcoming season, with a strong defensive line and a new, aggressive defensive scheme. Read more from Big 12 Media Day here!

🔼 Hang With The Bears. Baylor Athletics will host its first Summer on Turner Plaza event tonight! Head over to Turner Plaza outside Foster Pavilion from 6-8 p.m. and meet the men’s and women’s basketball teams. There will be family-friendly activities, live entertainment, inflatables, yard games, and local food trucks.

🔼 Roll Call. Baylor had 134 student-athletes named to the Big 12 Academic Honor Rolls! There are 21 Bears nominated for the Dr. Gerald Lage Award. Baylor placed 32 student-athletes on the All-Big 12 Academic Rookie Team, while 81 Bears earned spots on the All-Big 12 Spring Academic Team.
