⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣8️⃣ DAYS
That’s right, we are 2️⃣8️⃣ days from kick off!

Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson threw for 2️⃣8️⃣ touchdowns last season! He added four rushing touchdowns. His 3,071 passing yards ranked seventh-most in program history. This year, he’s made multiple preseason watch lists and earned preseason All-Big 12 honors.
🤝 MEET THE BEARS
Baylor football will host the 2025 version of Meet the Bears presented by Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center at the Allison Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, Aug. 16. The event is free to the public and will begin at 1 p.m.
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 All-Around Athlete. Baylor wide receiver and punt returner Josh Cameron has been named to the Paul Hornung Award Preseason Watch List! The award is presented to the most versatile player in major college football. He put together an All-America campaign as a return man last season, returning 14 punts for 290 yards. Additionally, he led the team with 52 receptions, 754 yards, and 10 touchdowns.

🔼 In Good Hands. Quarterback Sawyer Robertson has been named to the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List! The award recognizes student-athletes who exemplify community service, academic excellence, and athletic achievement. Off the field, QB1 has volunteered with No Limitations of Waco for more than three years, serving as an on-field buddy for children with special needs to compete in a flag football Super Bowl event. He’s an academic and spiritual leader for the Bears, posting a 3.73 GPA. His commitment to Baylor’s Christian mission is undeniable.

🔼 Wrecking Ball. Linebacker Keaton Thomas has been named to the Butkus Award Watch List! The award honors the nation’s top linebacker in college football and is named after Hall of Famer Dick Butkus. Thomas was named first-team All-Big 12 last season after racking up 114 tackles, seven for a loss.

🔼 New Opponent. Baylor men’s basketball will play in a home-and-home series with the Washington Huskies as part of the 2025 and 2026 non-conference schedules. The Bears will host the Huskies on Nov. 9 this season. Next season, Baylor will travel to Climate Pledge Arena on Dec. 19.
