⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 1️⃣7️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are 1️⃣7️⃣ days from kick off!

Former Baylor wide receiver Terrance Williams holds the Baylor record for most catches in a single game! He recorded 1️⃣7️⃣ catches at West Virginia in 2012. He compiled a school-record 314 yards in the same game. That year, Williams was named a Biletnikoff Award finalist and first-team All-American. He left Baylor with eight school records and led the nation in receiving yards.

🤝 MEET THE BEARS

Baylor football will host the 2025 version of Meet the Bears presented by Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center at the Allison Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, Aug. 16. The event is free to the public and will begin at 1 p.m. with team autographs, photos with Head Coach Dave Aranda, inflatables, face painting, helmet display photo-op and merchandise for sale from the Baylor Bookstore.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 KT Comin’. Linebacker Keaton Thomas has been named to the Chuck Bednarik Award preseason watch list! The award goes to the College Defensive Player of the Year, named in honor of NFL Hall of Fame linebacker and center, Chuck Bednarik. Thomas earned first-team All-Big 12 honors last season after recording 114 tackles, including seven for loss and 2.5 sacks. He also returned an interception for a touchdown.

🔼 Know The Path. Baylor’s cornerback room has a different look this season, bolstered by Calvin Simpson-Hunt’s national championship experience and new coach Paul Gonzales. The room boasts talent, including Reggie Bush II’s speed, LeVar Thornton Jr.’s reach, and Tevin Williams III’s physicality. With depth and experience, the Bears are poised for a strong season, starting with the Aug. 29 matchup against Auburn.
