⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 1️⃣6️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are 1️⃣6️⃣ days from kick off!

Former Baylor wide receiver Tevin Reese wore the No. 1️⃣6️⃣ from 2010-13. He finished his career ranked fourth all-time in career receptions with 187 for 3,102 yards. He was a key member of the 2013 Bears that finished first nationally in total offense. After college, he was drafted to the San Diego Chargers in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Today, Reese serves as offensive coordinator and assistant boys track coach at Ft. Worth Southwest High School.

🤝 MEET THE BEARS

Baylor football will host the 2025 version of Meet the Bears presented by Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center at the Allison Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, Aug. 16. The event is free to the public and will begin at 1 p.m. with team autographs, photos with Head Coach Dave Aranda, inflatables, face painting, helmet display photo-op and merchandise for sale from the Baylor Bookstore.

🔼 Teaming Up. Baylor Athletics is partnering with JABA, an AI assistant, to streamline NIL operations and provide student-athletes with tools to manage their brands and explore opportunities. The partnership, facilitated by Playfly Sports, aims to enhance brand outreach, track performance, and manage brand deals for student-athletes.

🔼 Finding An Edge. Baylor’s edge rusher and linebacker positions have undergone significant changes with the addition of three transfers, a four-star recruit, and outside linebackers coach Carson Hall. The new group, led by Oregon transfer Emar’rion Winston, has been working hard to get better and build confidence.

🔼 Wild Wild Weston. Baylor equestrian’s Herd Operations Manager Weston Lucas oversees the care of over 30 horses. He manages daily operations, including arena preparation, horse care, and inventory management, and enjoys the benefits of living on the property. Learn more about his role in this Q&A!
