Doug McNamee looks ahead to a new school year at Baylor Athletics, with football kicking off another highly anticipated season and fall sports ready to take center stage. He dives into the momentum surrounding the Fan First Era, the continued growth of Baylor Athletics and the work being done to create an even better experience for Baylor fans. From the competition on the field to everything happening behind the scenes, get a look at what’s ahead for Baylor.

🔼 Major Move. Baylor soccer jumped to No. 6 in the rankings this week! The Bears started the season 2-0 with wins over SEC schools No. 10 Arkansas and Texas A&M. This is the highest the Bears have ever been ranked.

🔼 Nation On Notice. Baylor punter Palmer Williams has been named a Second-Team Preseason All-American by CBS Sports. He is one of two punters on the All-America teams. Williams is coming off an All-American season where he was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award.

🔼 Schedule’s Set. Baylor’s men’s tennis fall schedule has arrived! The Bears will compete in 10 tournaments across five states this fall. The slate begins Sept. 19-27 at the ITA All American Championships.

Baylor Athletics is bringing the Baylor Family together in Atlanta with the Sic 'Em Road Rally presented by Playfly Max! This pregame tailgate will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET at the Home Depot Backyard at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before the Bears take on Auburn on Sept. 5. The tailgate will feature food and drinks, giveaways, a silent auction, and a live program hosted by John Morris. Tickets are $35 for general admission plus buffet and $10 for general admission only. Children ages 3 and under are free.
