🔼 Lonestar Lagway. Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway has been named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award watch list! The award recognizes the top offensive player in DI football who also exhibits the characteristics that define Earl Campbell. The nominees must have either played football and graduated at a Texas High School and/or be currently playing at a Texas-based DI four-year college.

🔼 Rain Rally. Baylor defeated Texas 2-1 after battling rain delays last night. Aryanna Jimison and Theresa McCullough scored for Baylor. Azul Alvarez finished the night with five saves. The Bears will host Pepperdine on Sunday at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Island Girls. Baylor volleyball begins the 2026 season at the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic! The Bears will open play tonight at 9 p.m. CT against San Diego. They’ll go on to play Hawaii at midnight CT early Sunday morning. The tournament will close against Georgia Southern at 7 p.m. CT on Sunday.

Baylor Athletics is bringing the Baylor Family together in Atlanta with the Sic 'Em Road Rally presented by Playfly Max! This pregame tailgate will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET at the Home Depot Backyard at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before the Bears take on Auburn on Sept. 5. The tailgate will feature food and drinks, giveaways, a silent auction, and a live program hosted by John Morris. Tickets are $35 for general admission plus buffet and $10 for general admission only. Children ages 3 and under are free.
