That’s right, Baylor plays football tomorrow!

Tight end Michael Trigg rocks No. 1️⃣ for the Bears! He landed on the John Mackey Award Watch List, an award that honors the best tight end in college football. He hauled in 30 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns last season. He had the second-best offensive grade on the team last season, according to PFF.

🔼 Lunch With A Legend. Join us on today for Lunch with a Legend from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. John Morris will host the event with former Baylor quarterback Nick Florence at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Click here to register!

🔼 Betty After Dark. Baylor soccer is finally at home for the first time this season! The Bears will host No. 17 Mississippi State tonight at 7 p.m. The theme is Betty After Dark, so wear black! Both teams are coming off wins, Baylor’s over Montana and Mississippi State’s over No. 10 Wake Forest. Admission is free for all Baylor soccer home matches in celebration of the 30th season of Baylor soccer.

🔼 No Fly Zone. Baylor soccer’s goalkeeper Azul Alvarez has been named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week! She is the only Big 12 goalkeeper to play 180 minutes without allowing a goal last week.

🔼 Dozen Roses. A total of 12 Bears from nine sports were recognized with the 2024-25 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Award, the Big 12’s highest academic honor. Caleb Bergman, Ty Johnson, and RJ Ruais represent the baseball team. Caleb Ackman, Drew Snyder, and Hayden Gold represent the track & field and cross country teams. Emry McDonough and Caroline Rowatt received honors for softball. Molly Canfield represents the equestrian squad, Drew Wrightson represents men’s golf, Ashlee Zirkel represents soccer, and Allie Sczech represents volleyball.
