⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣5️⃣ DAYS
That’s right, we are 2️⃣5️⃣ days from kick off!

Let’s take a look at the 202️⃣5️⃣ quarterback room!
Fifth-year quarterback Sawyer Robertson is the leader of that room as the other guys learn from him day-to-day. He threw for 3,071 yards and 28 touchdowns last season.
Redshirt freshman Walker White enters his first season at Baylor after playing behind Payton Thorne last season at Auburn. He’s a former four-star prospect from Little Rock Christian Academy in Arkansas.
He’s joined by fellow redshirt freshman Nate Bennett who was a three-star prospect out of Oaks Christian High School in California.
True freshman Edward Griffin is a three-star prospect from Coppell, Texas. He was ranked the fifth-best quarterback in the state.
🤝 MEET THE BEARS
Baylor football will host the 2025 version of Meet the Bears presented by Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center at the Allison Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, Aug. 16. The event is free to the public and will begin at 1 p.m.
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Reunited At Last. Baylor safety Tyler Turner has a strong relationship with defensive coordinator Matt Powledge, dating back to Turner’s high school days. After playing at Oregon, Turner reunited with Powledge at Baylor and is expected to start at safety. The Bears return to the practice field today.

🔼 Our Guy. Baylor punter Palmer Williams was named to the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List, honoring the nation’s top collegiate punter. He is the only Big 12 representative on the list. Williams led the nation in punting average last season with 49.35 yards per punt.

🔼 Welcome Home. The equestrian squad announced the return of Cindy Walquist as an assistant coach! The 40-year Western trainer and coaching veteran held the same position at Baylor from 2010-18. Last time she was here, she guided riders to an impressive list of accolades, highlighted by three Big 12 titles, two Big 12 Riders of the Year, and 13 NCEA All-Americans.
