⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣2️⃣ DAYS

That’s right, we are 2️⃣2️⃣ days from kick off!

Cornerback Reggie Bush II wears the No. 2️⃣2️⃣ on the Baylor defense! He played in 12 of 13 games as a redshirt sophomore last season as a member of the cornerback rotation. He ranked fourth among corners on the defense and had the fourth-best coverage grade according to PFF. Bush recorded 13 tackles and a pass deflection a year ago.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Catching Honors. Wide receiver Josh Cameron has been named to the Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list! The award recognizes college football’s most outstanding FBS receiver. Cameron earned All-Big 12 honors last season after recording 754 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

🔼 Preseason Praise. Punter Palmer Williams has been named a Second-Team Preseason All-American by The Sporting News! This is his third preseason All-America selection ahead of the 2025 season. He had the best punting season in college football and in Baylor history last year, averaging 49.35 yards per punt.

🔼 Block It. Baylor volleyball placed two on the Big 12 Preseason Team! Junior middle blocker Victoria Davis made the team after finishing her sophomore season with 74 total blocks and 87 kills. Middle blocker Gabrielle Essix made the list as she transfers from Florida to Baylor. She spent the 2024 season injured for all but one match. The Bears were ranked sixth in the preseason poll.

The Bears came in at No. 20 in the AVCA Poll, marking the 106th-straight poll that Baylor has been in. That is the fifth-longest streak in the nation and longest amongst the Big 12.

📺 Big 12 Volleyball Media Day is today! Catch head coach Ryan McGuyre and Victoria Davis will be on ESPN+ from 2:35-2:55 p.m.

🔼  Schedule’s Set. The 2025-26 Baylor equestrian schedule has arrived! The Bears will host five home meets in addition to the Green & Gold scrimmage on Sept. 19. The schedule will open with three-straight road meets, but the spring portion will begin with three-straight home meets at Willis.
