📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Defense Dominates. Baylor football downed Prairie View A&M 44-3 in the home opener at McLane Stadium. The Baylor defense held the Panthers to just 110 yards of total offense and added four sacks. Quarterback Nate Bennett started in place of an injured DJ Lagway, marking his first career start. He threw for 314 yards and three touchdowns, adding a rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Gavin Freeman had 10 catches for 104 yards.
🔼 Clean Sweep. No. 20 Baylor volleyball swept New Mexico 3-0 at the Ameritas Challenge. Ksenia Rakhmanchik led the Bears with 17 kills while hitting .300. Baylor now sits 6-2 on the season as they prepare for the Baylor Classic this weekend.
🔼 Sunday Funday. No. 17 Baylor soccer defeated Oral Roberts 2-1 in their final non-conference game. Grace White scored in the 41st minute, and Aryanna Jimison scored the game-winner in the 81st minute. The Bears will play at West Virginia on Friday.
🔼 New Addition. Baylor women’s basketball signed Kate Koval for the 2026-27 season! She comes to Baylor after spending last season at LSU, where she averaged 8.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
