The Bears compiled 468 yards of total offense - 223 on the ground and 245 passing. On defense, Kaleb Burns, Micah Gifford, and LeVar Thornton each had interceptions. 🔼 Hard-Fought Fall. No. 20 Baylor volleyball took No. 11 Florida until the end, but fell in a five-set thriller. Manuela Bibinbe recorded a career-high 18 kills and tied a career-high with seven digs. The Bears will stay in the Sunshine State as they take on UCF tomorrow in the Big 12 opener.
🏈 WORTH THE WAIT

Former Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty is set to enter the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame this fall! Petty waited his turn to be the Baylor starter, something that is a rare feat in today’s landscape of college athletics. When his time came, he went 21-4 as a starter and led the Bears to their first two Big 12 Championships and 11-win seasons.
“The time I waited, what I believe it taught me as a man… made me appreciate the times that I did play and that I did lead and was part of a culture that was a winning culture. It was a culture that people were excited about being a fan of Baylor football. And I couldn’t imagine it any other way.”
