After a 36-19 win over Louisiana Tech, Dave Aranda addresses the team in the locker room and reflects on the win, the fight, and what’s ahead.

🔼 Four The Win. Baylor quarterback Nate Bennett accounted for four touchdowns in Baylor’s 36-19 win over Louisiana Tech. Making his second consecutive start, Bennett completed 21-of-24 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns while adding a 25-yard touchdown run. His 87.5% completion rate was Baylor’s best since Robert Griffin III completed 90.5% of his attempts in 2011. Jayden McGowan caught two touchdown passes, and Louis Brown IV added a 51-yard score. Baylor’s defense held its third consecutive opponent below 20 points. The Bears host Colorado in their Big 12 opener on Saturday at 11 a.m. on ESPN2.

🎥 Highlights

🔼 Break Out The Brooms. No. 18 Baylor volleyball wrapped up the Baylor Classic with a 3-0 sweep of UTEP. Ksenia Rakhmanchik led the way with 15 kills and 15.5 points. The Bears completes a season-best seven-point comeback. Baylor will open Big 12 play at BYU on Friday.

🔼 Tough Test. No. 12 Baylor soccer played No. 9 West Virginia to a 1-1 draw on the road. Lauren Omholt scored in the 78th minute to put the Bears ahead before the Mountaineers made a 90th-minute goal. Baylor will host Oklahoma State on Thursday.

🔼 Dreams To Reality. From listening to games with a radio under his pillow as a kid to becoming the longtime Voice of the Bears, John Morris turned a boyhood broadcasting dream into a Baylor legacy. That legacy has earned him a place in the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame. Morris called his 457th consecutive Baylor football game on Saturday, but he will be in an unfamiliar role on Nov. 20 during the Baylor Hall of Fame Banquet.
