From his upbringing to the football field, Hosea Wheeler’s journey has been anything but ordinary. From JUCO to a national championship at Indiana, and now to his final season of college football as a Baylor Bear, Hosea reflects on the people, experiences, and moments that shaped the man he is today.

🔼 From The Top. Baylor Athletics is hitting the heart of the fall calendar with plenty happening on and off the field. As football opens its nine-game Big 12 slate, volleyball and soccer are both nationally ranked, while Baylor continues to build on its Fan First initiatives at McLane Stadium. Athletics Director Doug McNamee also introduced “Something Greater” as a way to define what Baylor Athletics is pursuing — excellence in competition alongside the university’s academic and Christian mission.

🔼 Set In Stone. Baylor volleyball’s Isabela Haggard was named the Big 12 Setter of the Week! She helped the Bears to a perfect 2-0 week at the Baylor Classic, totaling 82 assists across seven sets for 13.67 assists per set.

🔼 On Set. The Baylor Coach’s Show is tonight at Rudy’s starting at 6 p.m. Doug McNamee and soccer coach Michelle Lenard are tonight’s guests. Fans at home can watch live on YouTube.

This week on the Sic ’Em Podcast, we sit down with Baylor softball pitcher Hallie Burns. Hallie discusses her transfer to Baylor, the journey that brought her to Waco, and everything that has come with starting a new chapter in the Green and Gold!
