The journey begins. In the premiere episode of The Follow, we take you inside Baylor Football’s week one showdown with Auburn. Experience the energy, emotion, and preparation as the Bears open their season against a national opponent. Featuring exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes access, this episode gives fans an inside look at the team’s mindset on and off the field. 📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Drive Up I-35. Baylor football takes a drive up I-35 to play at No. 16 SMU tomorrow at 11 a.m. The game will air on The CW and will be broadcast live on the Baylor Sports Media Network. The Mustangs defeated East Texas A&M 42-13 in their home opener last week.

📖 Game Notes

🔺 Goin’ Down. Baylor soccer downed Texas 1-0 last night! It marks the Bears’ first win over the former conference foe since 2017. Alysiah Lockette scored the game winner in the 39th minute. Goalkeeper Azul Alvarez recorded her fourth shutout of the season. The Bears will head to Texas State for a matchup with the Bobcats on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

🔼 Thriller Thursday. Baylor volleyball defeated Northwestern in a five-set thriller last night! The Bears overcame a 2-1 deficit for the first time since 2021. Kseniya Rakhmanchyk led the offense with 15 kills, while Victoria Davis anchored the defense with six blocks.

🔼 Run It. Baylor cross country starts its season this morning! They’ll run at the Gerald Richey UTA Invitational with the women’s 5K beginning at 7:30 a.m. and the men’s 5K at 8 a.m. They’ll go up against seven teams, including host UTA, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Tarleton, ACU, Dallas Baptist, Ranger JC, and Hill College.

🔼  Drew On The Board. Men’s basketball head coach Scott Drew will serve on the National Association of Basketball Coaches Board of Directors! The NABC Board of Directors provides strategic oversight of the association’s operations and advocacy.
