📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Saw & Conquered. Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson racked up all kinds of honors after the win at SMU! He was named the AP National Player of the Week and the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. He was also named to the Manning Award Stars of the Week list and the Davey O’Brien Award’s Great 8 list. He became the first Big 12 quarterback to throw for 400 or more yards in the first two games of the season since Patrick Mahomes in 2016.

🔼 Hawk Yeah. Baylor kicker Connor Hawkins earned two weekly awards from the Big 12! He was named the Special Teams Player and Freshman of the Week. He was clutch on Saturday, going 6-of-6 on extra points and drilled the game-winning 27-yard field goal in the second overtime to win the game.

🔼  Dream Come True. Baylor linebacker Keaton Thomas praised former walk-on safety Jacob Redding for his standout performance in the double-overtime win against SMU. Redding, who recorded his first career interception and five solo tackles, credited his success to increased confidence and dedication. The Baylor defense made crucial stops in the second half to get the Bears back in the game.
