📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Welcome To Waco. This week, the Baylor softball squad got busy reloading for another run in 2025.

After reaching the Super Regionals this past spring, Coach Moore and company added two transfers this week with the addition of Turiya Coleman (Houston) and Brooklyn Carter (Washington).

🔼 Taking It Up A Step. Baylor and longtime partner, Playfly Sports, are taking things to a new level.

Playfly Sports, in partnership with Baylor Athletics, announced this week the launch of Playfly Max, a first-of-its-kind integrated revenue solution designed for a new era of not only Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) but also impending revenue sharing with student athletes, a now critical consideration for college leaders.

Through the Max program, Playfly will drive new NIL strategies for Baylor student athletes as well as -develop strategies to generate incremental revenue for Baylor Athletics by applying the proven commercial expertise that has made it the fastest-growing multi-media rights company in the industry.

Playfly Max is predicated on actualizing untapped revenue opportunities that have been underdeveloped in college sports and that have only been enhanced by the advent of NIL.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 64 DAYS

Number of the Day: 64(5).

It was the 2015 Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, Fla. and
the Bears literally ran through the Tar Heels of North Carolina.

Johnny Jefferson led a rushing attack that piled up a school record 645 yards that evening to help the BU football squad to a 49-38 victory over UNC.

🎟 YOU PICK IT!

This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.

The new “You Pick It” mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.

The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games.

🎙 SIC ’EM POD: JASON JENNINGS

Arguably Baylor's best baseball player in school history, Jason Jennings
was a two-time All-American and the first consensus
National Player of the Year in Division I in 1999.

Jennings went on to be a 1st round pick when the Colorado Rockies
took him 16th overall, and had one of the most memorable debuts
in MLB history, pitching a 5-hit shutout while also hitting
his first career home run.

Now, after a successful career in the professional ranks,
Jennings is focused on family, and has found a career in
training the next generation of ball players.
