🔺 Southpaw On The Scene. Rookie season. Facing one of the best offenses in the MLB. No big deal, right?
Well, apparently not for Baylor alum Cory Bradford as he tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless relief for the Texas Rangers on Sunday, striking out 4, scattering three hits earning the win to help the boys in blue to a 2-0 lead in the American League Division Series over the Baltimore Orioles.
Bradford was lifted onto the ALDS roster and came up huge as the Rangers are now just one win away from the American League Championship series.

🔺 Helping Hands. Don’t you just love BU alums coming together and shining on the biggest stage?
That’s what we have here as Grayland Arnold started it and Jalen Pitre ended it with the fumble recovery just up the road in Houston yesterday afternoon.
Pitre had his first double-digit tackle performance of the season with 11, while Arnold had four tackles on the day.
Okayyyyyy Hallie 🔥

🔺 Smilin’ In The Sunshine State. With the Big 12 schedule winding down, the Baylor futbol squad is getting hot at the right time.
A clutch goal off the foot of sophomore Hallie Augustyn with less than 10 minutes to play lifted the Bears to a thrilling 2-1 road win over UCF on Sunday to extend their unbeaten streak to four with just three Big 12 matches left on the schedule.
The Green & Gold currently sit in seventh place and are four points up on the final spot for the upcoming Big 12 Championship.
Baylor returns home this week for their final home game of the season as Cincinnati comes to town on Thursday night.
🔺 Cat Tamers. The 18th-ranked Baylor volleyball team showed their resilience, despite their youth with a big time 3-1 win over Kansas State, after a tough 3-2 loss to the Wildcats on Thursday.
Elise McGhee had a career-high three service aces to spark a late run that seal the victory for the Green & Gold. She also added 15 kills on the evening to lead the offensive attack.
🔺 Time To Bounce Back. The atmosphere, crowd and scenery were amazing and the Bears nearly tried to make it a second straight miracle, but the Red Raiders had the answers.
A long TD to bring the Green & Gold within two scores entering the final quarter gave Baylor life, but the Red Raiders would score two more TDs to put the game away and come out of McLane Stadium with a 39-14 victory.
🔺 Call To The Hall: Tiffany Townsend. As Hall of Fame weekend inches closer, we continue to profile our 2023 class.
After breaking a slew of Texas State High School records, Tiffany Townsend came to Waco knowing she still had a lot to learn.
And learn she did on her way to a school-record 17 All-American honors during her time.
